I bought a 2024 Venza from Toyota of Cedar Park in 2024. I loved the car, but I regretted not buying the top tier with all the safety features. Unfortunately, the Venza is no longer available, so after test-driving the Sienna and Highlander, we decided on the Highlander. I texted Kevin VonKahle, the same rep that sold me the Venza, and told him exactly what I wanted. Kevin communicated extremely well and found us the exact car I wanted. My wife had never let me live down not purchasing the Ruby Red Venza, and Kevin found the car with the features I wanted. Negotiations were fair, and in a couple of hours we were driving home in our new Highlander. Now I have to drive right past 3 other Toyota dealers to get to Cedar Park, but Kevin's treatment of my wife and me the first time around made it the clear choice, and the treatment the second time just reinforced our commitment to Kevin and the team at Toyota of Cedar Park. When we were done, Carter helped us set up the features we wanted and walked us through our new vehicle, setting up our user settings and the Toyota App before we left. He was extremely knowledgeable and had all the answers we needed. The first time around, I had such a bad experience at another Toyota dealership in South Austin that I decided not to purchase a Toyota. A friend of mine convinced me to try Cedar Park, and it's a decision I've never regretted. Kevin and his team are easy to work with, very communicative, had more inventory than any other dealership I even considered, and all in all made our experiences, both of them, painless and loving our Toyotas.

As both a Toyota Technician and a customer, my experience with Toyota of Cedar Park has been an absolute nightmare regarding a catastrophic transmission failure on my 2021 Toyota Avalon TRD (1 of only 3,800 made). The Backdrop & Wait: the transmission began experiencing second-gear shift issues. So I had Round Rock Toyota inspect my concern. By 50,000 miles, I had Cedar Park Toyota diagnosed it again and they confirmed the transmission was faulty. Because the part was backordered, they made me drive it a grueling 13,000 miles until it was replaced at 63,000 miles under warranty—refusing to provide a rental car the entire time. The Tech's Negligence: When installing the new transmission, the technician cut massive corners. They failed to follow mandatory Toyota warranty procedures to flush the transmission cooler lines and inspect/replace the heat exchanger. The mandatory operation (opt) codes for flushing were completely omitted from my receipt, proving the work was skipped. This left heavy metal contaminants in the system to destroy the new unit from the inside out. The Terrifying Safety Failure: Less than two years and under 38,000 miles later, the transmission has failed again. While driving on the highway with my wife and children in the vehicle, the transmission violently slammed into first gear. This caused an abrupt, dangerous loss of propulsion that nearly caused a major high-speed accident. My family's lives were put at risk. The Accountability Shift: I brought the car back to Cedar Park Toyota. Despite undeniable proof on their own paperwork that their tech skipped vital warranty protocols, they are refusing all liability. Instead, they are trying to stick me with a $9,600 bill to replace the unit. Because I am a professional technician, I know exactly how warranty claims work. This failure was caused by mechanical shortcuts, not wear and tear. Toyota Corporate currently has an open case on this matter. If this dealership does not step up and cover 100% of the replacement cost for their own negligence, I am fully prepared to file formal complaints with the Texas Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division, report the vehicle safety hazard to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and pursue legal remedies under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Buyers and service customers beware: If you want standard manufacturer procedures followed and a service department that takes accountability when they make a mistake, look elsewhere. I will gladly remove this review when they decide to be a honorable company. I advised them if they can show me on my receipt where the flush was performed the heat Exchanger inspected/replaced and a fluid flow rate check was performed per warranty opt codes. I would remove this review. So it will stay up because they cannot provide this information because they are liars That will do anything to avoid liability

Abby was awesome an did everything as one should as far as a customer purchasing a car having to have made purchase from Toyota dealer in san antonio which I was gonna purchase there again here at cedar park with help of Abby was a much better experience an I look forward to buying from here again thanks alot !
