2022 Toyota Tundra Features

With the 2022 Toyota Tundra, you’ll be getting a choice of two V6 engines. This is a bit of a change from the 2021 model’s V8 standard engine, but it gives Leander drivers an upgrade when it comes to torque and horsepower. 

No matter what engine or trim level you choose, you’ll be getting an impressive new 10-speed automatic transmission to add some smoothness and power to your drives.

The first engine choice is the standard twin-turbo V6 i-FORCE engine. It offers 389 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the 2022 Toyota Tundra hybrid engine – a V6 i-FORCE Max – gives you a staggering 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque! 

The Tundra also comes with a towing capacity of 12,000 pounds maximum, making it an ideal choice for anything from boats to trailers and everything in between.

When it comes to the 2022 Toyota Tundra interior, you’ll be getting plenty of standard and available features, like a panoramic moonroof, a power vertical rear window, a 14-inch multimedia touchscreen, and wireless smartphone charging!

2022 Toyota Tundra Pricing & Trims

Some details about the 2022 Toyota Tundra price has yet to be released, but we have a few important basics for you! The 2022 Toyota Tundra will be available in six trim levels, with up to eight exterior color choices depending on the trim:

• TRD Pro
• Platinum
• 1794 Edition 

Unfortunately, we don’t have hard numbers on the 2022 Tundra’s fuel economy just yet, but both the standard and hybrid engines are more powerful than their 2021 counterpart. We’d expect that the fuel efficiency has been improved to match! We’ll update this as soon as we know more details about the mileage.
